Ukraine Fest #Moldova
On June 25, 2022, IAYSP Moldova hosted and helped organize the famous charity cultural festival, “Ukraine Fest.”
At the event, guests and participants had the opportunity to learn about and experience Ukrainian culture through various activities, such as:
- cooking dumplings and enjoying them,
- tasting traditional dishes,
- making candles and dolls,
- singing and dancing to Ukrainian songs,
- watching movies and cartoons,
- drawing with gouache,
- purchasing various accessories and clothes with Ukrainian symbols.
The main organizers were three girls from Ukraine: Sofia, Arina, and Nastea. These girls were supported in their organization of the festival as they had won a funding grant received from the UPSHIFT Moldova 2022 program; implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova with financial support from UNICEF Moldova.
