Municipal Youth Forum in Chisinau #Moldova

On June 8, 2022, at the Palace of the Republic in Chisinau, Dr Diana Esanu represented IAYSP Moldova in the Municipal Youth Forum. The forum was attended by representatives of municipal institutions, youth organizations, youth councils, student councils, and student associations.

The program presented the results of a sociological survey undertaken with the participation of young people to identify the needs, aspirations, and difficulties faced by young people in Chisinau. The youth’s projects co-financing program was also discussed.

During the forum, four workshops were held for young people on the topic of youth service.

The official launch of the forum took place with the participation of:

• Ion CEBAN, Mayor General of Chisinau,
• Angela CUTASEVICI, Deputy Mayor of Chisinau,
• Andrei PAVALOI, Deputy Head of the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sports,
• Alex PETROV, UNICEF Moldova.

And the organizers were:

• Chisinau Municipal Youth Center of the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sports,
• Chisinau City Hall,
• Chisinau Municipal Youth Council.
