Inca Culture Festival #Peru

With the support of MUARS, on August 31, IAYSP Peru held an Inca Cultural Festival. There, participants could learn more deeply about the traditions and customs of the oldest pre-Colombian-America culture through demonstrations including one of their traditional acts of gratitude: whereby they make a model of revered Goddess Pachamama in the ground, with a piece of traditional Andean music. The reasoning behind hosting the event in August was persuaded by the understanding that it is known as the most representative time period to carry out this Incan ritual.
