Humanitarian Aid and Emotional Support from Young People for the Elderly #Moldova

On April 26, 2020, in Plopi commune, Cantemir district, Republic of Moldova, sixteen people over the age of sixty-five received material aid in the form of hygiene and food. The activity was carried out by seven young volunteers, divided into teams, who offered care packages and informed the elderly about COVID-19 protection measures. To carry out this project, Youth and Students for Peace Moldova collaborated with the Federation of Families for Unification and World Peace in Moldova. They offered material support from some doctors – a total of $USD232.
