Environmental Activity in partnership with Local Community #Brazil

On Saturday May 29, YSP Rio de Janeiro worked in partnership with WFWP, the Municipal Environment Secretariat and Revive Jacarepaguá, to plant thirty seedlings of Atlantic Forest native trees in the community of Anil. The work aimed to unite local environmental groups with the government as a way to restore and halt deforestation of the Atlantic Forest. In total, seventeen people participated. The local groups asked YSP to continue this work every month and sympathized with YSP’s vision of Peace.
