We Will Stand for World Peace #Japan

On September 1, 2019, YSP Japan North Tokyo hosted a festival with the theme, “We Will Stand for World Peace.” The festival expressed the lasting desire for peace between Japan and Korea. The two nations have been riddled with unease due to past conflicts. Despite this, the festival utilized performances to celebrate the positive relationships that have matured since the conclusion of the war. An S!NERGY program was also held where four speeches were given by representatives from international families and the government. The program ended with a Youth Declaration for Peace.”
