Youth and Students for Peace Inauguration

On April 17, the inauguration of YSP Uruguay was held at the National Garden, Montevideo. The program proceeded from April 15 – 17 as part of a three-day seminar for young people; with the last day of the event inviting the involvement of participants’ family members. UPF President, Maestro Raúl Rey, and WFWP President, María Rosa Neme, were both present at the seminar. They were joined by two VIP guests, Laura Tassano, representative of the National Party; and Mr. Carlos Flores Santos, Public Relations.

Kensei Sakurai, President of YSP Uruguay, gave a speech focusing on the responsibility of young people in the construction of peace and the importance of filial piety. Second, UPF President, Raúl Rey talked about the significane of character education.
