UN Day Celebration #Philippines

In commemoration of the United Nations Day, the International Association of Youth and Students for Peace held a UN Day Celebration on October 24, 2021, at the Municipality of Loon, Province of Bohol.

The event took part with different organizations from the Municipality, in particular: SK Federation of Loon, PYDO Bohol, Province of Bohol, BEMO, Municipality of Loon, Barangay Basdacu. A total of thirty participants joined.

The program started with the singing of hymns followed by welcoming remarks from the SK Federation President of Loon, Hon. Joseph Corciega. Afterwards, a video detailing UN SDGs was shown to the participants, followed by the President of IAYSP Bohol Chapter, Mr. Hon. Joseph Corciega giving the Statement of Purpose.

The event is related to SDG 17, Partnerships Towards the Goal, as the activity was partnered with different organizations.
