True Love is Giving #ProjectSmile and Food Feeding Program #Philippines

On December 18, 2021, the IAYSP La Union held a Food Feeding program for the children and families in Barangay Aguioas, Naguilian, La Union, benefitted around 100 children. Initiated by our IAYSP La Union secretary, Ms Leonisa Falguera; who is also an SK Kagawad.

The event was participated by the Barangay Council by the SK Chairman, Hon. Remigo Rimando, with the barangay kagawad, Mr. Joseph Mendoza. IAYSP also partnered with the SK Federation headed by Mr Darrel Mendoza; together with the BHW staff and the youth and families of barangay Aguioas, Naguilian, La Union.

Also, in partnership with MONHS Teen Center, Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Oroquieta and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Aloran conducted a service project entitled, “Project Smile or “True Love is Giving #ProjectSmile,” last December 21, at Barangay Bagong Tipan Elementary School; situated at Sitio Bagong Tipan, Toliyok, Oroquieta City. As a result of the collective efforts of organizers, IAYSP was able to share their blessings by distributing toys, hygiene kits and snacks to 50 children, their parents and school staff. We are hoping that by performing humble deeds such as this, we were able to bring smiles to children on their holiday.
