Suzuki travelled to the interior of Pando to provide social service in the facilities of a rural farm.

The host explained the philosophy of permaculture, which is based on only taking what is needed from the land and returning what is not. Permaculture also advocates in removing materials considered not good from the land to use as a natural fertilizer. They also explained the great diversity of trees planted side by side, without distinction of variety, to protect from diseases and generate biomass protecting the smaller trees from the sun.
