R.A.K.E.S Service Project, New Jersey #USA

On November 27, 2021, Youth and Students for Peace members in New Jersey joined New Jersey’s R.A.K.E.S service project to assist senior citizens and those with a disability in the community with raking leaves on their lawns. A team of sixteen volunteers worked together to rake leaves from the front and backyards of five senior citizens’ homes. The activity was meaningful and enjoyable for volunteers and they even had the opportunity to sing a Christmas song to one of the senior residents.
