Multicultural Rice Harvesting Event #Japan

Farming provides a reliable livelihood for people residing in rural areas such as Akita. On October 20, 2018, YSP Akita worked together with foreign volunteers to help farmers harvest their crops. This event was an opportunity to demonstrate the rich culture of Japan. The farmers were able to share their expertise on agriculture, encouraged the visitors to begin cultivating their own farms, and expressed their happiness and gratefulness.
