‘Little by Little,’ A Peace Designer Project #Korea 2020/02/14 The Peace Designer Project, ‘Little by Little’, was a daily voluntary service program centred on environmental preservation activities and connected to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. This campaign, which is centred on SDGs and resolving environmental problems in the neighborhood, was held on February 14, 2020 on both Bukhansan and Sokcho Mountains. Around three hundred participants from various countries learned about the SDGs and then tried to put them into practice, Little by Little. Prior to the service activity, participants ascertained the background and meaning of the United Nations’ 17 SDGs. They had some time to think about how to apply them in their real lives. While interacting with the environment, participants had many experiences that helped them understand the seriousness of environmental concerns and the need for the United Nations to focus its attention in this area.
