Las Vegas Service Project with Project GREEN #USA

On September 25, 2021, in honor of National Public Lands Day, Shine City Project volunteered with Project GREEN: Friends of Pittman Wash. Five volunteers removed tamarisk and other vegetation along with the storm runoff.
Equipped with only one handsaw and several other tools, they did their best with the tools available to them and cleared out much of the unwanted vegetation. They enjoyed time being outdoors applying themselves with the project and having an opportunity to see a couple of roadrunners.
