Awareness activities continued in high schools, in particular the “CES d’Alenakiri,” in which IAYSP held awareness campaigns and character education activities in three classes on November 29 and December 2, 2019. In total, approximately 140 one hundred forty students took part in these activities.

On January 17, 2020, IAYSP held a conference at Omar Bongo University on the theme, “The Role of the Student in Promoting Peace and Excellency.” This conference was attended by twenty-one people at the beginning and nineteen participants towards the end, including: representatives of Pan African Youth Network for Culture of Peace (PAYNCoP), representative of the Head of the Faculty of Science and Literature, Secretary General of the Universal Peace Federation, and three Ambassadors of Peace who confidently exhorted the young students to build peace in their environment. The students were very involved in their participation and pledged to ensure there were no vacant seats for the next program. More than nine guests, students and officials attended.
