Delivery of the “Young Hero” Medal #Nicaragua

On September 27, IAYSP Nicaragua presented the Young Hero medal to Oscar Ruiz. The event was held in the University-UPOLI Technology Laboratory.

Oscar Ruiz is a young man trained in Industrial Biotechnology. He created a bacterium capable of degrading arsenic found in water (a heavy metal, which can even lead to death). Due to his findings and discovery, thousands or even millions of people in Nicaragua and the world will have access to clean water perfectly suitable for human consumption.

Oscar Ruiz is internationally known for being a pioneer in this field and has inspired many young people to strive to make significant changes in the world and contribute to building a peaceful world through substantial practices.
