Commemorating the United Nations International Day of Peace #Nigeria

On September 21, 2023, IAYSP Nigeria partnered with the Office of the Honorable Member of Parliament—representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency—to celebrate the International Day of Peace. This event was held in conjunction with the launch of Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency Peace initiative to tackle the recurrent crisis between communities.

Twenty-four youth leaders were appointed as Youth Ambassadors for Peace to work closely with IAYSP to develop programs and activities for peacebuilding.
