Social Outreach Activity #IAYSP Germany

On July 12th, YSP Germany gathered in Berlin for its second social outreach initiative, “A heartfelt meal, a gesture that lasts.”

The day began with a fun ice-breaker game that brought the participants together before they moved straight into action. Volunteers prepared fresh wraps, painted cards, and wrote heartfelt messages. Each of the 40 completed packages contained one wrap, one hand-painted card, a muesli bar, bottle of water, and piece of fruit.

Once everything was ready, the group headed out into the city to personally distribute the packages to homeless individuals. Many recipients expressed surprise and gratitude, creating moving interactions that left a strong impression on the volunteers. Participants shared that although the day was long, meaningful experiences made it deeply rewarding.

YSP Germany hopes that this small gesture brought warmth and encouragement to the people they met. The team is committed to continuing activities that create positive impact within the community.
