Official Kick-off Ceremony of the Special Youth Volunteer Service Program #IAYSP Philippines

On January 25, 2025, the International Association of Youth and Students for Peace (IAYSP) Philippines successfully held the Official Kick-off Ceremony of the Special Youth Volunteer Service Program, in Antipolo City.

This program was created with the following goals and objectives: to clean and beautify Antipolo City, Rizal, by addressing environmental concerns and encouraging youth participation in maintaining a clean and healthy environment; to raise peace-loving global youth who embody responsibility, community pride, and the values of service and care for others.

 The event was graced by distinguished speakers and guests and they delivered inspiring messages that emphasized the importance of youth leadership, environmental care, and the spirit of volunteerism.

 After the opening ceremony at the Sun Hwa International Academy Gymnasium, participants moved to the streets of M. Santos Extension to the Hinapao area to carry out the cleaning activity. With dedication and teamwork, the volunteers collected 44 trash bags, totaling approximately 160 kilograms of garbage.

 This activity not only achieved its immediate goal of cleaning the area but also raised awareness among residents about the importance of environmental care. By witnessing the efforts of the youth, the community gained a deeper appreciation for the program’s values and its mission.
