Peace Project `Sembrando Vidas` #Nicaragua
On June 7, IAYSP Nicaragua held a conference supporting the International Day of the Environment with the theme, “Sembrando Vidas.” The main objective of this conference was to endorse the importance and urgency in caring for, loving and protecting the environment. The goal was to bring recognition and reflection on the devastating consequences caused by deforestation and the need to reforest and restore the environment. Funds were also raised that will be used to support the Refor Project, formed by a group of volunteer environmentalists, whose goal is to plant 10,000 trees.
Participants were motivated in supporting the initiatives to protect of the environment, with the support and promotion by IAYSP Nicaragua.
