Tree Planting in Newark, New Jersey #USA

On April 24, 2021, members of Youth and Students for Peace (YSP) in New Jersey attended two different volunteer opportunities. In the morning, a couple of members joined the Tree Treasures in Newark project, where sixty volunteers stemming from various groups came together to plant twenty-five trees in the City of Newark, in and around Nat Turner Park. The project was held in collaboration with Newark City, One Tree Planted, and the NJ Tree Foundation.
