Leaders Connect Webinar #Philippines

IAYSP Philippines organized the first of a series of Leaders Connect webinars with the theme, “The Comprehensive Values Education Act: A Youth Perspective” on June 15, 2020 across Zoom and Facebook Live. The webinar accumulated five hundred eighty-three registrants along with two hundred fifty attendees.

Dr. Robert Kittel, International Chairman of the International Association of Youth and Students for Peace, presented a summary of UPF’s response to the Senate Bill. Prior to the program, a video was shown to provide an overview of the CVEA to ensure young people gained an understanding of the Bill in question.

The webinar was conducted in order to hear the voices of the youth in regards to Senate Bill 1224 or the Comprehensive Values Education Act in the Philippines.
