Character Education: Role of Youth in Sustainable Development #Cambodia

On May 9, 2019, Youth and Students for Peace Cambodia (YSP Cambodia) organized a one-day seminar on, “Character Education: Role of Youth in Sustainable Development”, for thirty-five youth and students in Battambang, Cambodia.

The content of this seminar related to the universal principle and life goal of maintaining purity before marriage, nature of true love, principle of true family values, and environmental ethics. The seminar aimed to support the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly good health, well-being and quality education.    

The seminar was, in particular, an unforgettable experience for youth who were living in a society where the teaching of building happy families, environment conservation, purpose of life, and universal ethics are not widely advocated concerns within the public education curriculum and family unit.
