Hospital Painting Volunteering Activity #Uruguay

On November 27, YSP Uruguay fulfilled a volunteering activity to paint a hospital. Former First Lady Graciela Rompani, UPF Ambassador for Peace, proposed this activity to YSP and participants were involved in the activity from 9am – 5pm. YSP Uruguay painted the wall of a sector located in Pereira Rosell Hospital, a public pediatric hospital located in Montevideo.

This event was a unique opportunity for YSP members as they were able to connect to a pediatric public hospital; which involves the medical care of youth. YSP Uruguay is passionate in maintaining these types of contacts for future activities. Participating in this activity were YSP youth members and the President of UPF Uruguay, Maestro Raúl Rey Banegas; who offered his support in ensuring the event’s success.
