Opening Ceremony – Balkan International Youth Summit for Peace 2025

 The Opening Ceremony of the Balkan International Youth Summit for Peace 2025 was launched on September 20^th 2025 in Mitrovica, Kosovo, welcoming delegations from 32 countries across five continents: North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

 Organized by YSP Balkan – with the support of the Municipality of South Mitrovica, Municipality of North Mitrovica, and Municipality of Leposaviq – the event turned Mitrovica into an international hub for discussion, networking, and reflection.

 From the very start, we were honored by the presence of distinguished leaders and youth representatives united for peace.

 YSP Balkan developed the International Youth Summit for Peace as a concept, which is designed based on active communication with local, regional, and international stakeholders and a thorough evaluation of the needs of youth. The summit serves as a platform to further engage young leaders, promote peacebuilding initiatives, and address pressing regional issues, continuing YSP Balkan’s commitment to creating lasting positive change across the Balkan region.
